Institute of Medicine, Nepal has developed 12 campuses in the country in which 3 campuses located in Kathmandu valley and other are located outside of the Kathmandu valley. This institute was founded in 1972. This college is affiliated by Tribhuvan University. The aim of IOM is to provide health service, research in medical science and quality education in the medical field. This is one of the top colleges for MBBS in Nepal.
In starting they provide training in ANM, CMA, Proficiency Certificate course in General Medicine, Pharmacy, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Health Laboratory, Traditional Medicine but as the college progress, they run different programs which are community nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Adult Nursing, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic and vascular. This college is approved by the Nepal Medical Council.
This college also provides teaching hospitals where the internship does and practically you can learn more. T.U teaching hospital is an integral part of the IOM college
IOM MBBS Entrance Exam 2021: Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Nepal will be released in the month of August/Sept 2021. IOM Nepal invites application from Nepal and foreign student for admission to UG medical course (MBBS).
Aspirants who want admission in IOM and its affiliated medical colleges, need to submit online application form through Institute of Medicine, Nepal official website. The date of online application form will be updated here one its official declared, candidates are required to check the website regularly for latest updates.
Candidates who qualify the entrance test conducted by Tribuvan University (IOM) will be eligible to take admission in MBBS/BDS programme in its affiliated medical colleges.
Eligibility Criteria for IOM MBBS Admission:Application fee: Student needs to pay Rs.5000 (Nepali Rupees) as an application fee. The application fee can be deposited any branch of Himalayan Bank Ltd.
The foreign candidates can get their IOM Entrance Exam 2021 admit card from Department of Information Technology, IOM Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. Admit card will be available from 3rd Week of April 2021.
For foreign candidates, admit card will be issued only after the verification of their identity documents have done.
